Dreaming of Lemuria 2
My 'Dreaming of Lemuria' series is inspired by my love of the Ocean - sea blues, greens and turquoises .... the way that the water moves and the sparkling light of the sun as it dances on the surface.
To me this is seeing the divinity in nature.
Lemuria is the name of a mythical continent purported to have been in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It was said to predate Atlantis and was a place of unconditional love , where the beings lived in complete harmony with nature. It was very Feminine based - heart rather than mind orientated. A peaceful and joyful place.
It is associated with the vibration of the Whales and Dolphins and the colors of the Pacific Ocean and Hawaii
These images are created from my acrylic paint pours , photographed and then enhanced digitally to bring out the bright colours and to add the light sparkles that dance on the surface of the Ocean.
Each creation is totally unique - just like every movement of the ocean.
